Mielo Abelo Designs is Moving

At the end of last month, I learned that the marketplace that has hosted my website since 2023 is closing on March 23rd. I am deeply saddened by the news, as I wholeheartedly believed in and supported goimagine’s vision. I’m heartbroken that a project focused on philanthropy and community building struggled and ultimately was unable to survive in today’s world. I learned so much and built amazing associations during my time as a seller on the platform.

While my time on that platform may have ended, I have not lost hope in their mission. I will carry on my business adventure and keep making and learning, and I will continue to seek out and support platforms that align with my values.

However, after March 23rd, my website address mieloabelodesigns.com will go to my Square Online store (https://mieloabelodesigns.square.site/) until I can figure out where to land long-term and rebuild. It’s not as pretty or polished as my goimagine Mosaic shop, but the items are already listed, and I’ll be updating descriptions and photos in the coming weeks. I have already begun making changes and tweaks, and let me just say, it is a ton of work! But, it seemed like the a better solution than trying to rush something from scratch on another web host.

My original website mieloabelo.com will always be a hub to connect with me on social media or shopping platforms, and also to read my blog updates. I am planning to revamp things that site as well to make it easier to shop and connect with me, and I intend to blog more often. However, I have not decided what to do with this blog, as I started it as an off-shoot of my goimagine Mosaic website. I have been told that the custom URL will no longer work, so it may make more sense to focus on my main website and blog there.

I am truly grateful for the support of my friends and followers in my microbusiness venture and assure you all that my tiny business will endeavor to persevere. I hope you all stick with me. Stay tuned for what’s next!
