Introducing: Flame Colored Copper Jewelry Collection

I've been thinking of ways to keep my shop fresh and I'm adding some new categories and will rotate some fun banners that link to them. I think I will continue seasonal themes if I can keep up, but I also added a Flame Colored Copper Collection.

Recently, I upgraded my butane torch options to include the Blazer Big Shot and the Blazer Spitfire. Both are hotter than my chef's torch. I blogged a little bit about the Blazer on my other blog: https://mieloabelo.com/rediscovering-metal-work-part-1/

I have also been experimenting with UV resin as a sealant, and I am happy with the effects, but I have mixed feelings about resin in general. I plan to blog at some point in the near future on my other blog: https://mieloabelo.com/blog/ I use that blog to share my experiences along my jewelry making journey. I've been blogging sporadically since 2021, so I didn't want to merge these two blogs together and decided to focus more on shop updates here, since it is connected to my shop.

Celestial Jewelry Collection

I don't normally make holiday themed jewelry. While I think spider pendants are cute for Halloween, and candy cane earrings bring Christmas joy, it isn't really my style. However, this year, I decided to create a little celestial collection to celebrate the magic and mystical month of October. These will be featured in my shop through Halloween, but celestial jewelry can be worn year-round, right?

Even with a theme in mind, my designs are mostly inspired by the beads and findings in my stash. Sometimes I think I should be in the bead selling business rather than the jewelry business because I love buying beads as much as making jewelry! Luckily, that means muses lurk in every nook and cranny of my craft room and I don't have to look far to find what I'm looking for.

Celestial Sapphire Moon Phases Necklace 

This princess length (18 Inch) necklace can be layered or worn alone and has some extra chain length for adjustability. I was inspired by the deep blue sapphire beads and brass moon phases findings.

Rose Quartz Crescent Moon Necklace

 

The intricate focal bead inspired this long 24 inch necklace. I added delicate pink Swarovski glass pearls and shimmering pink crystals to compliment the rose quartz.

 

Jasper Star and Moon Earrings

 

These earrings feature star shaped jasper gemstones, perfect for this collection. 

 

 Lunar Phase Earrings - Silver Crescent with Moonlit Pearls

 

These earrings are the perfect accessory for both cocktail hour and witching hour.
